I did not have the keys for the toolbox so I remove the locks and got hooks at my local flea market for 5 for $ 1.00. I us one of the toolbox hole for the hooks and dill a hole on the top lid to put hook there. I had the locks from my old toolbox.

I add 2 reflectors to the toolbox. All I need to do is make a Tonneau cover of the bed so I can keep the toolbox on my sport trac.

I will make a video on how I make the tonneau cover.

See the projects section. There is a project on making a tonneau cover out of plywood that might work well for you.

It will be to heavy i am going to make lightweight like my softtop of the whole bed when the toolbox is not on but i am going to make so i can keep my toolbox in.

Just put four or five snap buttons across the front of the toolbox and in the necessary location on the soft top. My first thought. May have some issues with that method; preventing leaksl is one I can think of right off. Just tossing something out there.
