Well, I made it home safe Saturday with my new "used" 2008 Adrenalin. I flew down to Tampa from Atlanta and drove it back in the same day. I think it was a little over 400 miles to my house (60 miles west of Atl.) from "DK" aka "IceMan"s house. And, I got home in less than 8 hours and on just a little over one tank of gas. My V-6 would never had done that. I averaged almost 19 mpg's on the way home running between 80 & 90.. lol. At 80 mph she is at about 2300 rpm's.. not bad! I LOVE IT... most of you on here know this truck or have seen it.. it will fly & it sounds great too. Check out my library for all the pics!

Congrats - she is sweet!

I am still trying to find out how to "pull" the fender vents so I can do the same mod. Do you have any ideas?

droll.. not sure. I'm assuming they just "pop out" somehow. I will get a good close-up pic of them and post it.

I removed my fender vents... breaking some clips in the process before figuring out the correct process.

To start - take a plastic putty knife/blade and run it up and all around the vent breaking the seal of the tape from the vehicle. There are then 4 clips if I remember correctly. Push up - lightly - on the bottom two clips releasing the bottom of the vent. When they are released re run your putty knife up and around the vent (as the tape will have stuck back to the body - just not as heavy as before)

With the bottom two clips out as you work back up to the top of the vent with the putty knife the top clips should release from the body. The vent will then pull off.

To replace the vents you will have to clean off all of the tape from both the vent and the body of the vehicle. Then apply fresh tape and clip/tape the vent back on.

Cleaning the tape off wasn't hard - just time consuming. My vent has been back on the truck with only 2 clips and replacement tape and holding fine. I bought some strong double sided trim tape from the auto store.
