Ya know, I'm gonna go with the Explorer Ironman grille and have it painted body color. Then re-use my billit grill inserts for the final touch. Sorry Dingo, don't want to be a copycat, I just like the way yours turned out. BC

Was thinking the same thing ReblFord. Had my son take the grille photo into Photo Shop and see how it would look on the front of my ST...

Definitely a different look.

I LIKE! ..It separates it from the Explorer look with that grill. Remember it doesn't fit on Adrenalin though.

:supercool:

Still think the Adrenalin grille looks better anyhow!

IMO it looks silly without the "nostrils" that are a signature of the Explorer Sport Trac from the Gen 1 days.

I'm still kind of peeved they gave the regular Explorer the "nostrils." I am a bit of an elitist though.

EDIT: ahhh Eddie, you beat me to it.

For those that like the nostrils, this is my current grille setup. Any likes\dislikes?

I had had all 4 billet pieces in and thought it was too much, then went with just the center piece in, and of late gone with the center and lower pieces in. Compared to the all black I'm leaning towards keeping my current grille setup.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but thought it may give some a visual idea on some different looks and also help me settle on if I should leave well enough alone with my grille. Thanks guys!

And 20's. I believe it is called the "Sport" package. I looked at one on a dealer's lot but could not justify $42,000 for an Explorer whose body style will change in less than one year. Depreciation is one thing, but taking a hit like that is another.

Thanks Eddie.

IMO its hard to top the Adrenalin grille look though (especially against the 2010 blue... Todd & Rachael) :supercool:

I agree the Blue Ford badge looks GREAT on Todd's color STA....but any other color, it has to go!

I have always been a big fan o "offset" grille badges though....like a SMALL Ford/other emblem on the lower drivers side would look good!
