Vacuum Elbow Question

Hi all. My Trac suddenly started running a bit rough last week. It generally happens when the engine is idling around 1000rpm (when cold). After the engine warms up and the idle drops to around 600, it smooths out, but becomes rough again if I rev the engine up to 1000 rpm. I can feel the same roughness when coming to a stop while driving too. It's not to the point of try to stall out yet.



Anyhow, the vacuum elbow issue immediately came to mind, so I decided to check that out first. Visual inspection of the upper surface shows no cracks, but after struggling with the darn thing for half an hour, I can't get the stupid elbow off of the intake manifold. Short of cutting it off, anyone have any suggestions?



I should have some time this weekend to take a look at the IAC as well.

I just replaced mine today and it slipped off pretty easy after breaking the seal with a small screwdriver.

Where did you get the replacement part from and how much? Thanks
