Common problem...The rubber tether strap breaks and eventually you lose the plug.

The tethered plug is part of the oval lock housing and is not sold separately. You must get a whole assembly and then must remove lock mechanism from the underside before you can remove the lock cylinder and oval rubber housing together.

Don't know the part number but you will need the whole rubber plug and housing assembly.

Be prepared for sticker shock.

I know it's not intended to, but don't let this scare you - it's an easy R&R. Once, my bouncing ice-chest did it for me.

I have the male and female lock cover from a tonneau cover I used on another vehicle, I also have the dummy front plug. I would like $55 for all, and I will include shipping to the lower 48. I don't seem to be able to upload a pic to this site, email me and I'll send a pic. [email protected]
