Hi everyone, I have an 09 Adrenaline with the 4.6. I only have 73,000 kilometres on her. Has anyone had any issues with their Variable Valve Timing (VVT) Solenoid sticking? Keeps the engine retarded after coming to a stop. Then when you get going again it seems to go back to normal after a few miles. No codes showing. Not sure what it could be.
 
Ford Triton engine have known to have the VCTs get stuck with high mileage. you can test by unplugging. linking video.

 
Changed mine to the new OEM ford style ones... only at 118K.....
