05 ST door lock trouble

Hey everyone. Looking for someone to save the day for me again.

2 days ago I went to hit the interior lock button and it didn't work. The unlock button works just fine as well as my key fob. The passenger side lock also does not work.

I checked the fuse which was fine of course so I did the next logical thing which was to look for a split wire in the tube where the door meets the body. No split there.

So I checked a couple other places and couldn't find a split wire anywhere. Next thing I did was check for volts to the connector for the switch. Surprisingly I have power to both connectors.

If I switch the passenger side with the master I still have nothing.

I'm stumped. Please help. Thanks in advance

I believe it to be a relay. Does anybody have any information on where it's located and where I can buy one? I literally can't find any information on this for an 05. It seems they liked to move this relay around

Either the convenience module is dying OR there is a broken wire in the boot in the door.... Both are common...... Could also be a stuck actuator but then it would buzz or make other noises...... its all 1 fuse and relay box so its not a small part...

I did check the wires in the boot and couldn't find any wires that were even slightly chaffed let alone broken. And I even tested for power at the switch after which tells me there isn't a break in the wires.

Pressing the switch does nothing. The actuator isn't doing anything.

So about this convenience module.. is there another name for it? Where can I find one, if this is what controls the interior locks then I'm confident that's what it must be

Or you have bad switch...... Its funny how its wired..... I would get a switch first....

Okay I could do that.. it'd be a lot cheaper that's for sure.

I just find it very improbable that both lock switches failed at the exact same time (driver and passenger) but I guess it is possible.

Is there any further testing I could do with the multimeter to confirm anything?
