Well I know that describing noises on the the internet often doesn't lead to much, I'd appreciate and insight available. Noise started a couple weekend ago as a rotational clicking coming from the rear end. I put the truck in drive and jogged beside it, the noise sounds like it's coming from right behind the rear driver's side wheel, not central. Noise goes away when the brakes are applied, or when going above 20 mph. No clicking at all when in reverse. As a test, I loaded about 2500 rpm on the torque converter and launched. The noise went away for about a day and returned. I then roadtripped to truck about 400 miles to the point where I am now. Same as before, just more clicking and binding noises. I went ahead and replaced the rear half shaft, it did not fix the issue. The only other roatational item right behind the wheel is the hub bearing, but I have never heard of a bearing clicking and binding. What else could this be? Any help greatly appreciated.
