does anyone know the part number that superchargedsvt used to lower his sta? I seen a recent post from him that said he used 2010 bilstiens for a f150 but he never posted the part number. I'll hang in there a little longer but considering just cutting the coils.please anyone HELP.

Cutting is just hacking......

Can you email him?? Face book?

You've probably seen this EF thread, but just in case. Also see post #58 (www.coilsprings.com)

thanks for the link I inquired for a quote we'll see what happens. after seeing the sta with 2 coils cut i 100% am lowering no matter what.

Please post your findings. I'm still very interested in this.

I checked at work and the 2010 f150 shocks are within .5" in both collapsed and extended lengths. I'm trying to get more info on how much difference if any the piston would be or if that matters.

Glen the coilsprings.com quoted me about for front and rear coils which will be a 2 inch drop over stock and remain the same spring rate.they responded very quickly but i'm still not sold on that route. the Link above shows a sta that someone cut the coils on and it looks fantastic and he says it rides great.I'm going to continue to dig but right now i'm leaning toward cutting the coils since so many have done it and it doesnt cost anything besides time.

Thanks. One guy on the Facebook page cut his springs. Looks very good. Sit very low. He said he cut 2 coils front and 3 rear. No issues hitting frame and he said rides great. His name is Wyatt Cantu if you search sport trac owners page.

nice I'll have to check it out next time I'm at the inlaws I myself don't deal with facebook. I would be scared to go 3 on the back myself I live in OH roads aren't terrible but come spring there will be some pot holes that will swallow even lifted trucks lol.

Did you ever get your sport trac lowered, love to know how I went and maybe pics . I live in Ohio and understand the pothole situation lol. I have a short wife and would love to lower the sport trac down a little.

I believe Chad sold his STA recently. I have been running mine with 2 cut coils now for almost 2 years. They were all brand new with new struts. Have had zero issues with tires/alignments. And ride quality is still better than the blown out originals i removed.
