Interior Trim help

So at 18 years old my 01 Job 01 is starting to show its wear on the interior. I have replaced the door panels about 8 years ago because they were fading and falling apart.. well the new ones are fading again, and the interior trim pieces on either side have had broken lose. The clips or pins that push into the frame sheered off. So every time we hit a bump the passengers are hit in the head.
I have been trying to find replacement parts but WOW they are expensive. So I am looking for alternative ways to repair this.
I will try to get some pictures today, but I am sure I am not the only one that has had this problem. Besides just gluing this to the frame, who has others overcome this problem.

Sorry, can't help you with your window regulator in your other post. Here's a great source for OE quality small parts at a fraction of the price of Ford or the Dorman/Help! junk found in most AP stores. Fast and reasonable shipping too. Having an OE part number or sample to match really helps. Good luck!

Broken clips molded on the trim panels are difficult to repair. Perfect example are the door trim panel inside "hooks" that break when they are pulled out instead of up when removing the panels. Tried various repairs including ABS cement, JB Weld, and various "super" adhesives with mixed results, if not failures. Problem is most body and interior trim panels are long discontinued, and when you find them usually command stupid expensive prices. I suggest checking car-part.com, Hollander Parts, eBay, or salvage yards if your repair attempts fail. Here's a great site for getting complete OE part numbers. BTW, if you find a "good" fix I'd love to hear about it. BTDT. Good luck!

Thanks @swshawaii I will be looking at all those sites.. I have tried all the "super" adhesives too and with the heat and humidity here in Florida they were temporary at best. Also many of them I have just lost the other part that broke off.. I am sure they are inside the frame LOL
I almost considered zip ties because every bump causes them to bounce off my head LOL I think I am going to start looking into Barely Used Auto Parts and I will check those sites you mentioned as well. Thanks.
