I saw an ad for good condition Adrenalin rims and tires for $1000. It had been up for a month and I asked if they were still available. Threw out an offer for $750, and he took it. The rims are overall in pretty good condition. Little bit of corrosion, little bit of curb rash. The tires that came on them are 2012 Michelin Latitude Tour HP with 7mm of tread. Overall I'm very satisfied. I'm going to paint them black in the spring like I did my stock rims. This is one of the last things I'll be doing to my truck, aside from 4.56 gears

not too bad, Pics when installed.

For sure. I'll be putting them on in the spring after I paint them. Right now I'm sitting on some beautiful rusted out steelies from 2005. Hoping to have the winters put on my stock rims soon. With that being said...

is anyone in Ontario interested in a set of Michelin Defender LTX 255/70r16 used for 8 months? I bought them brand new last spring. Paid over $1000. Anyone on this board I'll sell them for $500 Canadian

Well it was a relatively mild day here in southern Ontario, so I threw on the new wheels so I could see how they look and if there are any issues with them. Good news is, they look great and when they're black it'll be even better.

UPDATE:

I was experiencing a wobble with the front wheels and thought the tires were shot, which they could be but I diagnosed the issue today with a fresh set of eyes. I knew the offset of the Adrenalin rims is 35mm. I think the stock rims are around 15mm. I have seen Adrenalin rims on a gen 1 before so I just assumed they would work. Anyways the issue is the 2wd hub sticks out just a bit too far for the rim to sit completely on the hub, so the rims weren't seated all the way. So I need wheel spacers. The studs are 1.25 inches so I was thinking 1.25 inch for the front and 1.5 for the rear.

Here is a picture of my hub. You can see where the rim was contacting the hub

You could just machine the rim hub a little bigger. Or the spacers.

I was thinking that but I think I’ll go with the spacers so that the rims aren’t sitting so far in

I love Adrenalin rims, just that used ones cost about the same a new aftermarket wheels. Sticking with the cheap plastic cladded ones on my limited for now.

I've always loved them too and finally made it happen for a pretty reasonable price. Except I didn't do enough research and due to the offset I now need spacers. Hopefully I can get a good couple years out of the tires. Hopefully this endeavor doesn't end up being too expensive or I might as well have just bought new rims and tires. However, I've never seen any aftermarket rims that I liked, that was the problem. Those 18's on your limited are pretty nice too! I think they look good.

I actually saw those in swap and sell and I wanted them, but at the same time I want satin black rims. Figured shipping to Canada and the price of new tires would be excessive

Somebody should really snipe those, it's a great deal for $600
