anyone know what's involved in bringing over tire sensors from 18 wheel to 20 wheels?
How difficult is this, is it possible at all?

If they are the stock "banded" sensors, they will transfer. You might need to buy new bands, about $5 each. I've actually had a couple of bands break on my '10, local tire dealer (Discount Tire) had them in stock.

How old are your sensors? Are they the original sensors? If so, they may start to fail soon due to the batteries reaching the end of their life span.
When I upgraded from 18" to 20" wheels, I bought a set of these on Amazon and had them installed.

Here is another option. This is what I did when I installed a set of '99 Mustang Cobra wheels on my '07 ST. Works fine.
