Looking for any help or insight- I have an '04 ST with approx 80K miles, all of a sudden the illumination on the rotary switch for the parking lamps/headlamps/fog lights stopped lighting up, and the fog lights no longer work either! Seems like a strange combination of problems...The fog light indicator still illuminates when I pull the swith out to turn them on, but the lights themselves no longer work. Anyone else experience these types of problems? Thanks!

Ditto Vic. Try spraying the rotary dimmer with electrical contact cleaner first, these types of switches are dust magnets. CRC Electronic Cleaner is very handy to have around anyway.

I never turn my switch. I leave it on auto with the fogs on. No problems yet. Since '04 I probably turned them off 4 times.

Have you checked the fog bulbs. I have replaced mine twice. Of course I run ultra 9005 high beams in my fogs. Wired the box under the hood so they stay on with the brights.

If your bulbs are good, wiring and no corrosion in the sockets. My guess is a bad switch.

Well it wasn't the switch being dirty- took it apart, cleaned it, greased the slide mechanism for the fog lights- still nothing. No interior illumination, no fog lights. I tried it in auto and manual light settings. I saw a used switch on EBay for 15, will buy that and try it next. I will also check the fog light bulbs to see if they are blown...

I re-read your opening post. Did you check fuse and relay associated with the lights? Your owner's manual will have a location diagram. YouTube video may help with procedure too, although subject vehicle has opposite problem of lights not turning off.

If it is just the light switch not illumination the various settings, I believe that it may just be a burned out instrument light in the switch housing and can be replaced....and since you have to remove the switch to replace it, or replace the bulb, it may be worth taking the old switch out and see if you can simply replace the old bulb.
