Any string instrument players out there?

I play guitar, but I have no idea what that instrument is? I think it may be some kind of Greek Mandolin? What ever it is, the guy is unbelievably good!!! It sounds like there are 3 or 4 instruments playing !:supercool:

Norm, the link only takes me to a Yahoo search sight which attempts to take me to wikipedia, but that does not work? I assume the name of the instrument is a Balalaika since I looked it up on Wikipedia ant it appears to be a Russian instrument. Since the video does not show the lower part of the instrument I was not aware that it was triangular shaped which would not be any Mandolin that I am aware of.
