There are many problems in the world. After 48 years of marriage, and all was great, then cancer and in the last 9 months, for us there was but one problem. All the issues I thought were important were minimal as we fought this. Give your kids and loved ones a hug. time is so precious and so short. there is no second chance. spend more time with them, and be glad you could.

Very true. Cancer sucks! I never leave my kids at home or school without telling them I love them. My middle son Vinny and I always have to do the thing where we point to our eye, heart and then to each other (I think its from Jerry Macquire?). Even if he's mad at me he's come running back to do that before I leave. I cherish it everyday.
 
Aloha Dennis, Sorry for your struggles, you are right, we never know. The Lord knows and we can look to him for strength. Our prayers are with you.
