no, just the dash opening. try to fit the Z1 in it to see how much needs to be trimmed off. the only other problem you may have is actually mounting the unit so it wont move. i used a bracket off a standard ford dash kit, the one that mounts to the back of the aftermarket unit and slides on the...

i dont think there is any adapter available. i believe the actual dash cavity is a din and 3/4. i have the kenwood ddx-7017 in my o4' and i had to trim the upper and lower "lips" in the dash opening, but it fit like a glove (i also trimmed the trim ring that came with the radio so that it fit...

definitely time to upgrade to aftermarket. like coastie said, you can get a lot for a little. and if you get an aftermarket radio with sub controls, you'll be able to control the volume of your factory subwoofer separately from your door speakers. four hours to repair factory radio, or...

dang, those are some good headlights. i picked some bulbs up at best buy a long time ago (cant remember the brand) and they burned out like 4 months later. exchanged them, after a few choice words with the manager :rolleyes:, and same thing. they were junk. i'll have to pick up some of these...
