Actually, it does... not necessarily because it's synthetic, but because the fluid is new. The old fluid compresses due to moisture, contaminants & over-heated fluid that accumulate over time & use, which the new fluid doesn't. There's more line-length (more volume of fluid) going to the rear...

I was in Sarasota last week (buying a house) and will be moving there at the end of June.

My 03's cruise also doesn't work at times until the engine is restarted... but at the same time, the horn & all but hi speed on the wipers will not work... turn the key off, start it back up, all is work again. I haven't dug into the column yet to see what's going on. TJ

The remote locks & unlocks like it should, just the horn confirmations doesn't when it's acting up. What doesn't make sense to me is that turning the key to "lock" and re-starting usually fixes it.

How far is her drive to work? Short winter trips will affect fuel economy worse than if you put a lower-temp thermostat in your cooling system. Air-fuel ratios are affected by coolant temperatures, so until the engine is fully warmed up you'll be using considerably more gas than normal...

Got my 2" lowering blocks from Advance for $25. They had 3" for $30, but I'm pleased with the results I got... gaps look more balanced front to rear now, less like it's nose-diving. TJ
