Ok, I found it, on the frame over the spare tire, in a real handy spot.

I cant find the FPDM, the factory manual only lists its as behind the right rear 1/4 pannel trim with a diagram that is obviously on an explorer by the rear lift gate, but no indication of the trac. Ive taken all the obvious panels off but no joy.
Thanks, Todd
I might end up fabbing up something myself, the ones on the explorer look pretty simple. The running bosrd bolts are still ther so I could hang someting fron them.....hmmmm
I got sick of my running boards chunking up with mud and slush etc. and pulled them off, now from the side view you can see a whole lotta frame hanging down. I can live with this but if there is a option out there I would be interested in how it looked.
Anyway, the question are, did any...
Ive had mine out before, unplugged and all, with out doing any downloading etc.??, no issues that Ive noticed.
That said, I now have one bulb out as well, does anyone have a prat or bulb # before I remove it again??
Cheers, Todd
Hey guys and gals, what are you using for vent visors on your 2nd gen. I had inchannel ones on my 01 ST and would like to go that way again, but wanted some opinons first.
Thanks, Todd
When i bought my 07 it had 255/70/18 on it and the filled the wheel wells but fit fine and ended up with a 265/70/18 after the lift. I would say the 265/60/18 would be fine as its smaller than waht I originally had on mine.
265 is as wide as you want to go IMO, I could get my fingers...
Hey Steve that does seem like a pretty small difference, would be interesting to hear from someone whos made the switch.
We seem to have the same pet peeves, the exhaust exit, gas door on wrong side etc. I did see a post either here or at explorerforum where someone put a Adrenaline(sp?)...
This was on a honda mind you, but buddy had a battery go bad in his remote and it did the same thing, but as others have said Ive heard the truck battery will do this as well.
