I have a 2001 green 4X4 ST that I bought used in 2011 that had 17200 miles on it.. currently it has 72,000 miles. I havent had to many problems with this truck except the factory cd/raidio ate my cd’s and wouldn’t eject... so I replaced it with a used cd/cassette/radio w/o the six cd capability.
Now I have a problem with the front brakes. Same problem that other owners have, with the brake pedal goes to the floor at very low speeds.
Long time mechanic replaced the master cylinder, then the right wheel sensor....then a used ABS module/pump assembly...took to dealer to make sure it was programmed correctly, then the right wheel sensor. This coming Tuesday it will have been a month. Wish I had found this site before taking it to him....after reading about other ST owners with the same problem it looks like it might be the hub/tone ring or bearing problem? Any way to narrow it down?
