I said it in another thread and I'll say it here.. Why the @$#%#$% ford would put a 3,500 lb. permanent hitch on a 6,800 capacity vehicle is beyond me.

Class II (1.25 square tube) is 3,500 pounds - Class III (2" tube) is 6,500 (IIRC) Huge leap of stupidity: My new ST is rate to pull 6,500 lbs - but they put a 3,500 lb hitch on it......and it's permanent

I just got mine last week. I like the door openers, but the pull handles suck. The lids for the bed storage NEED TO BE SPRING LOADED, it's a pain to hold open and put stuff in. I love the console personally, wouldn't have bought it without it.
