what is a CEL ?

mine also makes this whistling noise, only when its cold though..Just like the other guys, its loudest around 50 -55, but when i let off the gas petal the noise goes away. Seems more like an air intake noise to me because its only under acceleration.

yes the heater blows hot air. but i did notice the gauge is in a little lower. it has been very cold here lately though.

:Dso should I start with the thermostat, sensors or just get everything? also how do I clear the code and get my check engine light off. also thanks for the fast replies.

on my way home from work the check engine light came on . I went to advance auto and scanned it . code po128 came up which is coolant temp below thermostat regulating temp.The guy at advance said it was either thermostat or some sensor.. he ordered the sensor . anyone ever put one in? any help...
