By the way, most remote starts need a ground on this wire to operate. When the brake lever is applied, it sends 12 volts down that line.

What it is telling you is that the wire from the alarm module that senses the brake being applied is not hooked up. Look under the dash and find the wires coming from the brake lever. If your lucky, you will see one not connected. Try that first. Then reply with what you have found. Cuda

I checked rock auto. That piece is just the cap. The piece that broke was the door from the hinge. Thank you though. I looked on their website and couldn't find anything. Fords website says $87. So I'm still looking.

So I was getting gas today and when I went to open the fuel filler cap, it just snapped off! I've only done a little research so far and I found a replacement for $77. Anyone else run into this problem? :banghead:

75 miles round trip. Mostly highway. Norhern Phoenix. So I get mountain veiws most of the way. It's great in the winter months because I get to see snow capped mountains!
