I have an 09. I had a transmission leak but only when I let it sit for a few days. Turned out it was the power cable that goes into the tranny. FORD knows the problem but won't cover it. It's a $30 part but cost over $250 ( gasket, fluid , new connector, filter, and labor) to repair

Late entry here. My wife had a pack rat in the cabin air filter. I put some poison under the hood. About 3 months later I opened the hood of my ST and their was the poison pellets. Haven't had any problem since 🤪
