Good day. I used 14 gauge wire. Also I use heat shield on the PCM. My thinking is that it gets a lot of heat from under the engine bay . Good luck

We send a few PCMs and BCMs out for repair over the years. Sometimes it worked out great, sometimes not so good. I think you would be better if you have your PCM repaired.
