The steering and brake safety lockout for shifting into gear is hanging up.Won't go in gear with out a battle. I've heard there's a way around it? Is there away to disable it or manually release it ? 05 sport trac auto/4whd

First what exactly is the description when ordering high amp fuses for my 05 sport trac... Tall J case 20 amp ? These are the larger ones under the hood in the power distribution box. Seems that if I use the cigarette lighter it blows #19 20 amp fuse out,(so I tossed the lighter). Anyway...

I see where he went wrong. He was only looking at the lower amp flat fuses.I got an online manual and it's the #19 "high power fuse", the small square ones under the hood. Do you have to disconnect the battery to change this ?

Went to get truck inspected and it wouldn't link up. I know the cig lighter went out a week ago,, but we could find no bad fuses under the hood or on left side of dash. Is there another panel somewhere that I can't find on the internet ?
