2001 DWWB, 4x4, 4.10 open dif, fully loaded, leather, moonroof
A former 'professional' hardcore recreationalist/leisurist, I was fortunate enough to spend many of my younger years (my 20's) living at Lake Tahoe skiing and biking, livin' the 'good life'! (The 'play now' part of the program)
But age & injuries have slowed me some. Well... a lot actually! (Many trips into the Tahoe Barton emergency room for x-rays, concussions and knee surgeries.)
Now in my 40's, skiing all day, every day, for all those years has left me with a worn out body. Moguls, while quite fun to ski, will beat you up!
AND... the family business was calling, so now it's time for me to work... a lot!! I currently have 3 jobs. (The 'work later' part of the program...)
But with my family's purchase of a house in the Tahoe Keys, (spring 2003) and one that needs a lot of work at that, I now have the opportunity to spend some more time at my favorite place on this planet... Lake Tahoe!

I needed a truck to haul my tools & building materials, large appliances, restaurant supplies, my skis, board and bikes, be able to tow my trailer, haul my dogs inside, and on occasion, carry more than 2 people. I didn't want another full size pick up or an SUV, and when I saw the Sport Trac I knew it was what I needed, and fully loaded was what I wanted!
My Sport Trac does it all, and it looks good doing it too!

My Trac was recently 'demoted' to work truck/off road truck status with the inheritance of a 2004 Cadillac Escalade (6/01/06), and the purchase of a 2007 Mustang GT California Special convertible. (ordered 10/15/06, arrived 1/12/07) With 98k miles on it, it's ready for some 'time off'...

I purchased my ST on 10/31/01 from Folsom Lake Ford, Folsom,CA

And since then I have added or modified:

Thule bars for my skis, bikes, toys... (11/07/01)
