    Transmission acting up

I got a guy checking it out tomorrow, but unless he sees a miracle fix, I think you're right friend. If he is, thanks for all the help over the years, Todd and the rest of your guys. May not have felt like much to you, but meant a lot to me.

Running - Yes In park - Yes 175 degrees - Probably? We let it run for 5-10 minutes before checking.

    Transmission acting up

We pulled the plug and put the nozzle in to add fluid on Sunday. It dripped, so the drain field definitely has some in it. We put 1.5 quarts in, figured with the leak, better to have a little too much. No changes so far. Still driving with rough shifting and wrench/check engine lights.

    Transmission acting up

OF COURSE it's on its way out. I'm hoping to sell for $3k, and it has to do this. I've got a guy who will take a look at it for me, but I'm not feeling good about it anymor .

    Transmission acting up

Before someone asks, I had the transmission fluid changed at 180k, and I'm at 213k now. It's a 5R55S. I'm going to give the computer a reset tonight when I get back. See if that helps.

    Transmission acting up

So my 2007 4.0L has a transmission leak, it's the line that runs in the front near the radiator, I'm getting that fixed. But experiencing other issues I want to be sure are related. I noticed the leak when changing my spark plugs a couple weeks back, then the valvoline guys pointed it out as...

    Engine Misfire

Todd, I figured if I'm doing plugs, I might as well do wires. I didn't do any checks, but the plug on #6 came out in 2 pieces. the metal electrode separated from the ceramic, and came out with the wire. So I was pretty confident when I saw that, I was getting at the real issue. I've got a basic...

    Engine Misfire

Plugs & Wires fixed it! The project on plugs was very helpful. Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I'll note for anyone who hasn't done this job, you'll need to take the as alternator off to get the wires for 1/2/3 out. Ed, the computer reset didn't help, but I did take a moment to clean the...

    Engine Misfire

I didn't consider the battery, I'll try that tonight. Mass Airflow & the idle control valve are both on the list to clean tomorrow! I'm about halfway through a tank of gas that has a can of seafoam in it. I tried that first. I'll let you guys know if the battery or airflow help, thanks!

    Socket size for lug nuts

3/4" should work. I did the same thing, I keep a breaker with the right socket under the back seat at all times.

    Engine Misfire

I've been getting codes showing an engine misfire on cylinders 2 & 6. It's only noticeable when I'm accelerating, when I'm about 40 mph-50mph it levels out. But if I try to get up to 60, it starts to shake. I'm pretty handy, but I don't have a scope or anything really fancy. Any thoughts on how...

    Fasteners for Tail Lights

I've looking at my local auto parts stores, hadn't considered taking it to home depot. That's a solid idea, thanks!

    Fasteners for Tail Lights

I couldn't find any that matched up at one of my local places. That's why I figured I needed to resort to the internet.
