Love my ST! It fits my lifestyle to a "T". I do not need a truck very often, more of an SUV kind of person (towing/family transportation) but the bed on the ST is invaluable.
Truck: Born: 07/17/01 Bought: 09/01/01 Mod's include: Jason "Pace" series topper, U-Haul class 3 hitch, 7 round trailer wiring, Reese Brakeman brake controller, ST bedmat, bugflector, ventvisors, Flowmaster DF 50, removed the air filter box and installed KN cone filter, Stainless Steel running boards, and American Racing Nitro wheels. Added Audiovox XM tuner and FM modulator, both hard wired to radio power. Replaced Cooper Dominator tires with Michelin LTX M/S 255/70/16. XCAL3 w/tunes.
Sold on 10/14/08 and replaced with 2008 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V6 2WD. Hated to get rid of the Trac, but the A/C crapped out and was cost prohibitive to repair given the ST was almost 8 years old with 100k miles. Gen 2 tranny issues scared me (as did the Gen 1 issues, but I was a lucky one)so I went with the Toy. The mods have already begun, added XM radio (Commander XT), Bugflector, and AVS Ventshades. Rewired accessory point for constant power.
Me: 44, widowed w/children (19/23/24) and a grandson. Employed as a Command Master Chief/Master Chief Electronics Technician(E-9)in the US Navy. Currently on shore duty in Norfolk VA for my last tour.
