My front left went bad too. You may also notice some slight negative camber on the noisy side. I waited and prematurely worn the inside tread. The hub includes the Anti lock brake system sensor.

The rear speakers might be off due to a setting on the rear console. More specifically the headphone jacks. If they are present, a false signal that a headphone jack is used may trigger the rear speakers to be off.

I experienced the same thing when I slide the auto lamp selector left to the off position. The contacts may be dirty or not engaging constantly. I will some times experience a quick on / off session. I have been meaning to maybe use some pressurized air (can) or electrical contact cleaner...

Eddie S, I agree that it's tedious project. I think I had to do the same thing. I bought a repair kit for one wire. That is why I have a set of replacemts with very low mileage on them.
