Yeah my 07 V8 weighs about 5500 with me in it and just the normal stuff I carry every day. No where even close to the "curb weight". I don't know how the heck I could strip it down to 4500, maybe no fluids, no spare, no driver and of course totally empty - not carrying a thing.
