O.K. A year ago I sold my 2002 ST with 29k to my Mother. Today she calls me and says the tranny is shot and is going to cost between $ 2,100. and $ 3,500 to fix. The ST only has 32k on her now. Can anyone give some helpful advise I can pass on to Mom? Like what is most likely the problem...

I have a Flowmaster with factory resonator and a glass pack right before the muffler. Its got a nice tone and is not loud in the cab. With labor it was 200 bones.

Somebody should make a filter for the ST's vent, my 02 Focus had one. It used a Purolator carbon/hepa filter which cleaned the air so well, even when behind a stinker. The cartridge installed below the passenger side windshield vent. Is the vent intake the same on the ST? All one has to do is...

Same for me, but my 02 has 27k and does the flair every once in a while at 2500 r.p.m's. Can an X-Cal take care of this?

I suppose you could make a lid for your tray out of the cut out piece. Maybe cut out the dash in Ford's oval shape, make the tray out of cardboard and fiberglass. Just some ideas. I test drove a Spec V today and also liked that storage on top of the dash. I also use a heat moldable plastic...

You can re- cover the armrest. I did my mother's in about 30 minutes, and w/ better quality vinyl.

I was told a thin metalic tube will conduct a lot of heat, dropping horsepower. Do you think so? I wrapped mine with header tape, told it would help. Pic in library.
