ST hitch

Okay so I'm looking for hitch option to go to a class 3.
One option would be to cut the old one out,m the hole bigger put in a 2 inch receiver and have it welded in.
But then there's the problem of finding a welding shop that'll do it.
Has anyone actually gotten this done and has a picture?
The other option I was looking at was being able to cut that crossmember in the back out and replace it with a aftermarket hitch that would go in place of it.
I know there's the option of having a hitch that drops below the factory one but that looks really stupid.
Has anyone found an aftermarket hitch that can go in place of the welded one?

Yeah I've read a few posts about people have done it and I've googled it and read about people that have done it but I cannot find a picture of anyone who's actually done it. Lol.

I seen them.
It helped a lot. So I could show pics to a welder so they understood exactly what I wanted. I found a welder. I already cut the old one off. Going to get new one welded in Sunday.

Oh yeah. Lol.
I got the new hitch in.
Everything went good, looked good.
Then I decided to paint it with some leftover black por-15 I had. I used a cheap paint brush.
So the paint job looks really bad.
But with its intended use I don't really care.

Lol. Ok great. One day get a foam roller and just re paint.
