Anyone ever upgraded your bushings from rubber to urethane ?

Is this possible? my friend mentioned something about it so I thought I'd bring it to the board and see if any of you knowledgeable folks have anything to say about this process...

Yes, you can do sway bar & sway bar end links mostly. But, I am sure if you go to Energy Suspension web site you can cross reference some of the the other poly bushings. Also, do a site search on ploly bushings as well.

This post will help:

I changed every bushing to polyurethane on a mustang one time. It was the worst thing I did. The car handled very well, but sqeeked so bad I had to get rid of it.

I've changed out the bushings on my 2000 Explorer's front control arms, and I did the rear leaf spring bushings on my 93 Explorer. They're a bit of a pain to get out and will most likely squeak eventually, you need to decide if that will bother you. Nobody listed the exact applications I replaced them on or what you need, so you'll need to cross reference parts to figure out what will work.

Found these references on YouTube. Hopefully this helps someone. I know it will me. Having crawled underneath my 2002 vehicle recently, I noticed my bushings are definitely in need of replacement. So chalking this up as a next project to do. Been noticing annoying squeaks and creaks, I assume due to vehicle age. I just installed Dyamat Soundproofing material in the cabin. What a difference that made. Now if I can replace the bushings and refresh with another set of shocks, I could be set for another 100K+.
