I have an issue with my truck in bumper to bumper traffic. The temp gauge gets into the danger zone with the a/c going. Turn off the a/c off and instantly, the temp dropped to the middle area of the gauge. My mechanic checked all of the cooling system and found nothing. Any ideas?

UPDATE: My mechanic suggested taking it to a car wash and spraying the inside of the wheels as sometimes dirt will get into the sensors, causing the trouble light. Five bucks in quarters at the self service wash and the light disappeared!

There's a rocker button on the driver's power seat in my '07 that doesn't seem to do anything. It's the first button in the row going from back to front. I'm guessing that it's a lumbar support but before I take the seat out to diagnose it, I'd like to know if anyone else had the same problem.

I finally found confirmation that the front windshield is what the electric heater works on. Motor Trend review had this to say;. The Ford's optional heated windshield with microwires embedded in the glass is a nice trickle-down feature from Land Rover, though.

So, there's the usual fan driven windshield heater AND an electrically heated one? Seems silly to have two unless the electric one is for the rear glass.

Here are the photos of the button on the dash And of the driver's mirror. Nothing indicates that it's for the mirrors.

I have a 2007 LTD with the OEM tonneau cover and it's missing the rubber cover on the right front (passenger side) latch. Anybody have one that they can part with?

I'm very happy with it. It came with the truck so I don't have any paperwork for it.
